START WITH THE PERSON — NOT THE CONFIGURATION

Choosing adaptive mobility equipment can quickly become overwhelming.
There are measurements.
Different sizes.
Different wheels.
Accessories.
Positioning considerations.
Transportation questions.
And different activities that may require different equipment.
It can be tempting to start with a product page and ask:
“Which one should I buy?”
We prefer to begin somewhere else.
Who will use it?
TELL US ABOUT REAL LIFE
Before recommending an xROVER direction, our team wants to understand the person behind the equipment.
We may start with a few essential questions:
How old is the user?
What are their approximate height and weight?
How do they currently move through everyday life?
What activities or environments would you like the xROVER to support?
That's enough to start a conversation.
We don't believe the first interaction with a family should feel like filling out a clinical questionnaire.
First, we need to understand the situation.
Then we can ask the right follow-up questions.
THE SAME xROVER ISN'T RIGHT FOR EVERY FAMILY
Consider two people of similar height.
One may be independently ambulatory and need supplemental mobility for long outdoor outings.
Another may rely on mobility equipment throughout the day and require additional positioning support.
Their measurements might look similar on paper.
Their mobility needs are not.
The same is true for activities.
A family primarily looking for longer neighborhood walks may need something different from a family focused on cycling, trails, running or beach access.
That is why configuration should follow the intended use.
Not the other way around.
SIZING IS MORE THAN HEIGHT AND WEIGHT
Height and weight are important starting points.
But final sizing can require additional measurements and consideration of factors such as:
Seated dimensions.
Positioning.
Growth.
Entry and transfer needs.
Current mobility equipment.
Transportation and vehicle fit.
And the activities for which the xROVER will actually be used.
Our goal is not simply to determine whether someone technically fits inside a particular size.
Our goal is to recommend a configuration that makes sense for real use.
THEN WE BUILD THE CONFIGURATION
Once we understand the individual and the intended activities, the conversation becomes much clearer.
Which size?
Which wheel setup?
What positioning support may be appropriate?
Will the family use xROVER primarily for walking and outdoor mobility?
Running?
Cycling?
Beach access?
Multiple activities?
Instead of asking families to navigate every option themselves, xROVER USA helps turn the information into a personalized recommendation.
YOU DON'T NEED TO BECOME AN xROVER EXPERT.
THAT'S OUR JOB.
You know the person.
You know your family.
You know where you want to go.
Tell us about that.
Our team will help determine the next step.
