Funding FAQ

Funding FAQ

1. Can xROVER USA guarantee that my funding request will be approved?

No. Funding decisions are always made by Medicaid, private insurance companies, nonprofit organizations, grant providers, or other funding agencies. While approval can never be guaranteed, xROVER USA provides professional documentation and personalized support to help families prepare the strongest possible funding request.

2. What funding options should I explore first?

Every family is different. Depending on your situation, you may be eligible for Medicaid, HCBS waivers, private insurance, nonprofit grants, state assistive technology programs, community fundraising, or flexible financing. During your consultation, we'll help identify the funding pathways that may be appropriate for your family.

3. What documents does xROVER USA provide?

We can provide a complete funding support package, including your personalized xROVER Family Mobility Assessment™, Official Quotation, Letter of Medical Necessity template, Clinical Benefits & Medical Justification Guide, Technical Data Sheet, product photos, videos, and additional supporting documentation requested by healthcare professionals or funding organizations.

4. Does my doctor need to be involved?

In many cases, yes. Medicaid, insurance companies, and grant providers often require documentation from a physician, Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or other qualified healthcare professional to support medical necessity.

5. How long does the funding process usually take?

Every funding source has its own timeline. Some applications may be reviewed within a few weeks, while others can take several months. Processing time depends on the funding program, documentation requirements, and the individual review process.

6. Can I apply for more than one funding source?

Yes. Many families successfully combine several funding options, such as Medicaid, nonprofit grants, community fundraising, private insurance, and flexible financing. Exploring multiple funding pathways may improve your chances of obtaining the equipment you need.

7. What if my funding request is denied?

A denial doesn't always mean the process is over. Some funding programs allow additional documentation, corrections, or an appeal. We'll do our best to help you understand your options and determine whether additional supporting information may strengthen your request.

8. Can adults qualify for funding too?

Yes. While many funding programs focus on children, adults with disabilities may also qualify for assistance through Medicaid, waiver programs, veterans' programs, nonprofit organizations, or other funding resources, depending on their individual circumstances.

9. Is there a cost for the funding consultation?

No. Your initial consultation with xROVER USA is completely free. We'll learn about your family's needs, discuss possible funding options, and prepare a personalized recommendation without any obligation.

10. Why does xROVER USA focus so much on funding?

Because we believe every family deserves the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together.
