THINK ABOUT THIS WEEKEND
Not your diagnosis.
Not a product.
Not a list of equipment specifications.
Think about the last two days.
Where did your family go?
What worked well?
Where did mobility become more difficult?
Was distance a factor?
Did the surface change?
Did fatigue change the day?
Did someone have to stop before everyone else?
Was there an activity you avoided altogether?
These everyday experiences can tell us something important.
They show where the gap may be between current mobility and real family life.
SOMETIMES THE MOST USEFUL INFORMATION ISN'T A MEASUREMENT
Measurements matter when selecting adaptive equipment.
But they don't always tell us why a family started looking for another mobility option.
A number can't tell us:
“We stopped going on long walks.”
“He can walk, but the distance back to the car becomes difficult.”
“Her wheelchair works well every day, but not where our family likes to spend weekends.”
“We want to bike together again.”
“We stayed home because we weren't sure we could manage the terrain.”
Those statements give the equipment conversation a purpose.
And purpose should come before configuration.
YOU MAY NOT NEED TO REPLACE ANYTHING
Exploring xROVER does not automatically mean replacing independent walking or an existing wheelchair.
For some individuals, xROVER may be considered as supplemental adaptive mobility for particular environments or activities.
For others, the mobility and positioning needs may be very different.
That is why we don't begin by assuming the answer.
We begin by understanding the need.
START WITH ONE REAL SITUATION
You don't need to send us every medical record.
You don't need to know the correct xROVER size.
You don't need to understand every wheel or accessory.
And you don't need to have a funding strategy figured out before speaking with us.
Start much more simply.
Tell us:
Who would use the xROVER?
How do they currently move through everyday life?
Where does mobility become difficult?
What would your family like to do together?
That's enough to begin.
MAYBE NEXT WEEKEND CAN LOOK DIFFERENT.
Not because every barrier disappears.
And not because one piece of equipment solves every mobility challenge.
But because understanding the real problem is the first step toward finding the right solution.
Maybe next weekend means:
A longer family walk.
The entire soccer game.
A trail.
A bike ride.
A fall festival.
A day outside that doesn't end when the pavement does.
Or simply saying yes to something your family has been avoiding.
SO — WHERE WOULD YOU GO NEXT?
If something about mobility changed your family's plans this weekend, tell us about it.
Our xROVER USA team will start with your situation, ask only the essential questions first, and help determine whether xROVER may be an appropriate direction.
