Funding adaptive mobility equipment can involve multiple people and organizations — physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers, Medicaid programs, waiver administrators, Regional Centers, insurance companies, foundations, and other funding organizations.
Our role is to help bring those pieces together into a clear and professionally organized funding case.
We begin by understanding the rider and the family's real-life mobility goals.
A structured professional recommendation connecting mobility needs, family participation, safety, positioning, and the recommended xROVER configuration.
A professional quotation clearly identifying the recommended equipment, configuration, pricing, delivery, and other relevant commercial information.
Guidance and support for working with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals involved in documenting mobility needs.
Depending on the funding pathway, we help prepare and organize the documentation required to support the request.
This may include:
• Funding Submission Cover Letter™
• Professional Recommendation documentation
• Letter of Medical Necessity support
• PT/OT documentation guidance
• Physician documentation guidance
• Vendor information
• W-9 documentation
• Supporting product information
• Funding-specific submission documents
We evaluate the family's circumstances and identify realistic potential funding pathways based on location, coverage, eligibility, and available programs.
Your family receives personalized support throughout the process, including help understanding requests for additional information and determining appropriate next steps.
When funding is successfully approved and the required authorization or payment is received, xROVER USA coordinates the next steps toward delivery of the approved mobility equipment.
A diagnosis does not define a child, teenager, or adult.
Our process starts with understanding the person and the family — not simply completing paperwork.
We want to understand what improved mobility could make possible.
A family walk.
A school activity.
A trip to the beach.
A vacation.
A weekend outdoors.
A community event.
More time participating with family and friends.
These real-life goals help us understand why adaptive mobility matters.
The purpose of adaptive mobility is not simply transportation.
It is participation.
For younger riders:
We recommend the stroller a child will grow into — not the stroller they'll grow out of.™
For teenagers and adults, we apply the same long-term philosophy by considering comfort, safety, positioning, terrain, family lifestyle, and future mobility needs.
Our goal is to recommend a solution that makes sense today and continues providing meaningful value tomorrow.
Complete the xROVER Funding Assistance Request and tell us about the rider's mobility needs, current equipment, insurance or program coverage, and your family's goals.
We review the information and prepare your Personalized Family Mobility Assessment™.
Based on the information provided, we determine whether the xROVER L BUGGY ADVENTURE™ is an appropriate configuration and prepare the supporting professional recommendation.
We identify realistic potential funding pathways based on your state, insurance, Medicaid coverage, waiver participation, Regional Center status, foundation opportunities, grants, and other available resources.
We prepare and organize the appropriate xROVER funding documentation and help coordinate supporting information from physicians, PTs, OTs, case managers, or other professionals when required.
The completed documentation package can then be submitted to the appropriate funding organization according to its individual requirements.
If additional documentation or clarification is requested, we help your family understand the request and determine the appropriate next step.
Once funding is approved and the required purchase authorization or payment is received, xROVER USA coordinates production or inventory allocation and delivery of the approved mobility equipment.
xROVER USA cannot guarantee approval by Medicaid, Private Insurance, HCBS Waiver programs, Regional Centers, foundations, grants, or any other third-party funding organization.
Each organization establishes its own eligibility requirements, coverage policies, documentation standards, approval criteria, and timelines.
The purpose of the xROVER Funding Success Package™ is to provide families with a professional, organized, personalized funding strategy and supporting documentation while helping them navigate the process.
If you intend to seek third-party funding, do not purchase the Retail version first.
Start with the xROVER Funding Process.
Tell us about your family, your mobility needs, and your current coverage.
We will help you determine the appropriate next step.
